It reaches Great Falls, Montana, in the north and Las Vegas and Los Angeles to the south. Interstate 15 (I-15), known as the Veterans Memorial Highway in Utah, runs west of Salt Lake’s Downtown area. You can pay using coins, card or the ParkSLC phone app. Metered on-street parking is available in Downtown.City Creek East Garage (84111) and West Garage (84101) are underground parking lots ideal for shopping at City Creek Center. You’ll find nearly 170 spaces at West Temple Surface Lot (84103) and over 200 spots at Elks Building Garage (84111), a 10-minute walk away. Temple Square has several parking garages close-by.I will also say that while it's an interesting drive, there are far more interesting things to see in the region. I've not had any issue with passenger car in Valley of the Gods, but do check road conditions from recent weather locally and know it's outside your agreement. And the toughest part is right at the start dropping down from The View. In Monument Valley, in my opinion it's not prudent to take any regular car onto the park roadway. But it would be outside the limits of your rental agreement. With proper vehicle it's a nice element of the park and connects to the paved Burr Trail into Boulder (or vice versa). That road has been improved now but it's not paved. I've actually taken a passenger vehicle into the Waterpocket District and it was sketchy. The Cathedral Valley area is not suitable for a normal car. You have sufficient opportunities to see Capitol Reef with the paved scenic drive. But it should not really impact your plans. As Connie indicated, it's the same policy with any car rental.
